Introduction
We are excited to share with you the latest updates on the Classy project. As we approach the end of our journey, we are proud of the progress we have made in bringing guided 3D lessons to education through the development of our innovative platform. We have been working hard to offer a new, technically advanced, and engaging e-learning method that provides better learning opportunities by following a virtual model, connecting teachers with students in a fantastic virtual and fully customizable world.

We have made significant strides in the past few months, leading to the successful creation of Prototype 1, which was presented in ARVR Innovative in Dublin in May 2022, and then upgraded to Prototype 2 with even more features showcased at the Thessaloniki International Fair in September 2022.

Final capabilities of classy:
Immersive 3D guided lessons: With Classy, users can enjoy immersive 3D guided lessons that offer a thrilling educational experience. The platform allows for interaction with a variety of virtual reality (VR) learning resources, enabling teachers to create and launch unique educational resources in a convenient way.

Interactivity between students and teachers: Classy provides interactivity between students and teachers, making the class more fun and interesting. Students can interact in real-time with the teacher and other students using emoji to present their status and also send messages through the chat subsystem anytime during the session without interrupting the class via microphone.

Real-time messaging via chat subsystem: The chat subsystem enables real-time messaging between the teacher and students, making it easy for them to communicate and collaborate during the session.

Image and PDF demonstration control by the teacher: The teacher has absolute control over the images and PDF documents demonstrated in the class. During the demonstration, only the teacher can close or open images and documents, and only the teacher can change pages, giving the teacher absolute control over what is displayed in the class and when it will appear.

Creation and sharing of quizzes on the go: Classy provides the option for the teacher to create quizzes on the go, saving all the student answers for future use. The quiz creation process is straightforward, and the teacher can add as many questions and answers as desired.

Saving of student answers for future use: All student answers to quizzes created on Classy are saved, making it easier for teachers to review them and identify areas of improvement for future classes.

Generation of PDF file for quiz answers: The teacher can generate a PDF file with all quiz answers for easy review and distribution.

Emailing of quiz results: The teacher can email quiz results to the students, making it easier for them to review their performance and areas of improvement.

Avatar representation for privacy: Classy uses an avatar to represent the teacher and students, providing privacy and making it easier for students to express themselves and ask questions without fear or shyness.

Mute and kick-out features for teacher control: The teacher has absolute control over the class, with the ability to mute or kick-out participants at any time.

SketchFab import for easy creation of new environments: Classy provides SketchFab import for easy creation of new environments, making it easier for teachers to create multiple and beautiful environments.

Easy-to-use experience editor for scene creation and editing: Classy provides an easy-to-use experience editor for scene creation and editing, giving users multiple choices and increasing creativity.

Multiple environment options for increased creativity: Classy provides multiple environment options, allowing users to create and edit different environments, increasing creativity.

Repeatable and editable saved experiences: Saved experiences can be used as many times as desired and can be edited again to meet different needs that may arise.

RECENT EVENT PARTICIPATION:
At Classy, we believe in engaging with the community and sharing our our results in Virtual reality. We have participated with Classy in numerous events, including the “EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS’ NIGHT” held at Eleftherias Square, Nicosia, on September 20, 2022. During the event, we presented our project and raised our brand awareness to the public.

We also participated in the Erasmusplus festival, which took place in Nicosia on October 15, 2022. As a coordinator of the CLASSY Project, we presented the results of the project implemented under Erasmus+ through interactive methods to the visitors. During the event, we shared our experiences, knowledge, and skills in augmented reality with other Erasmus+ projects’ beneficiaries who also attended the event.

Our final Multiplier Event was completed on February 20, 2023, showcasing our cutting-edge prototype. The event took place at the University of Cyprus Conference Room, where attendees had the opportunity to witness the platform’s advanced and engaging e-learning method firsthand. Designed for students, teachers, trainers, and professors of all levels, Classy offers a unique and dynamic way to learn that is both enjoyable and effortless.

At the Multiplier Event, participants explored the platform’s multitude of features, including voice communication, pre-made 3D environments, avatars, and more. With the ability to create personalized lessons in the experience builder, users can bring their own 3D models to life for education or guided tours. The platform is accessible through a smartphone, tablet, or virtual reality glasses, making it convenient and user-friendly.

In addition to its impressive features, Classy has integrated SketchFab, providing users with even more opportunities to create and explore. With live sessions for students and teachers, movement of avatars in live sessions, pre-built environments with navigation mesh, and points of interest for information inside the 3D environment, Classy is revolutionizing the way we learn.

We understand that our platform’s success depends on our ability to engage with our customers and retain them. Customer retention is a critical aspect of any successful business, and we have taken several steps to ensure that our customers remain satisfied with our platform. Our platform’s personalized and interactive features provide our customers with a unique learning experience, making them more likely to remain loyal to our platform.

At the final multiplier event, we had the pleasure of hosting esteemed guests, including educators, researchers, and policymakers, who were keen to learn more about our innovative solution. We received valuable feedback and insights from our guests, which we will use to further enhance the platform.

With the completion of the project, we would like to extend our gratitude to all of our partners, stakeholders, and supporters who have been instrumental in making Classy a success. We could not have achieved our goals without their collaboration, hard work, and dedication.
